Joy and Sadness

I have a range of emotions right now. I am all too eager to get this new life started, but I am realizing all the more the life I am living now is not too bad and there is a lot of unfinished business. I am so excited to begin teaching, learning, growing, encouraging, inspiring, dreaming in South Korea; I so am. It is going to be great.

But as my departure from Florida closes in, I feel there is much left to do. I have a community here that is so awesome and I believe we are on the cusp of some great things. I believe my church to be in a growing season, and not just the adults; amazing things are happening in the youth and children's ministries. I have loved every second of subbing at McKeel. I hope I have had some effect on the students there; hopefully I have challenged them in some way. (I hope they soon realize their full potential and come to understand that they should never accept low expectations.)

But, I digress. A range of emotions flooding to the forefront. But God is so good. I know he has set forth this new direction and for that I give my all.
