da, da, da...dadada....its the final countdown and so the song goes...
Wow. One week to go, then its Korea time. My time in Ohio has been time very well spent. I have had a great time reconnecting with my family and friends. It has been very refreshing; I have not had to work. Although I have not worked, I did want to. I think God has wanted me to use this as a time of rest and relaxation. On a side note, I had a chance to make balloons at a restaurant, but I said HECK NO!!! So, its been a great time of furlough before "go-time."
Last week I went to Chicago to have my visa interview. I left a little before 7 on Friday morning to have my interview at 10:30am only to return to Ohio by 5:00pm. I was scheduled to return around 10 or so because I was unsure of the time it would take for the interview, but I was lucky enough to get a standby ticket on a much earlier flight.
The interview went pretty good I guess. I went in with another guy for the interview. We went in 2x2. The interviewer went back and forth between the two of us for his question asking. I think the interview is there to give them a reason not to give you the visa. Here's to my answers being good enough....
I was amongst crazy awesome scenery; one of the coolest downtowns I have seen. I took my camera with me to take crazy awesome pictures. I took one picture. Maybe I forgot or maybe I did not want to look the tourist, I don't know? But here is the picture.
